The garlic ramen is to die for, I can't tell how authentic it is but it's delicious. It will take me a long time to get tired of this place.

Great place to have authentic Aburasoba. I come here often for lunch, service is great and efficient.

The ramen here is just okay. There are many other places for better ramen downtown. The broth is not overly rich and mostly salty. Everything is just okay. This is place is fine if you're in a hurry and other places are full. The service is quick and food comes out fast.

Wasn't sure about the hype! Server brought my ramen and it missing my egg. She came back with one in a small bowl basically shot it on the table and went to help others that were waiting to be served. Broth was too salty for my liking.

Regular shio ramen. $12 after taxes and tips. I would suggest a large bowl if you want to get full.

The soup had black oil so it might not appeal to some, but I liked taste. Perfect for a quick bite.

This place was good. I do prefer the Richmond location as I believe the portion size is smaller. I do like the big tables because it can fit a large party. However when you do have a lot of people they include %18 gratuity to your bill. It’s kinda weird since in Japan they don’t ask for gratuity at all. Sigh. I mean people do need a decent wage and I don’t know who owns the place or how much they pay the workers. Arg I’m feeling under the weather and should review places until I’m right.

I had miso ramen, it was fine but bit salty for me. Portion was not that big, so if you want to have heavy meal please order bigggg size!

I like this place and the food they serve, attention is very good too, the reason why I am taking out one star is because all their soups - which are great- are based in pork, it would be nice to have some beef or chicken options too.

Solid ramen place for a cold day! Beware, the name might have changed as the side awning read “I <3 Ramen”. If you search for H Mart, it’s the business immediately to the left.

So good! Obviously Japanese run and has the authentic taste with no corners cut. The egg is a good example of something done right here but not everywhere. Even the gyoza is perfect, so you know they have an attention to detail.

Overall a solid ramen shop to go to if you're looking for a quick bite around the area. I personally enjoyed their black tonkotsu ramen since it comes with thin noodles, and the broth and pork pieces were better than expected. The regular sizes here are often good enough for me and I leave feeling satisfied. The chicken karaage is a safe choice to try out, but would recommend to stick with the ramen if you are on the fence about ordering it.The spicy miso ramen was a huge miss for us - the taste of the broth did not particularly match the noodles. Wouldn't particularly recommend this ramen. In contrast, the black tonkotsu ramen exceeded my expectations.

Love the atmosphere and middle table seating. The taste is very similar to ramen in Japan (probably because it's a Japanese chain)! The spicy ramen is my favourite.

My favourite ramen place. Although, they're not very good at making the floors no-slip as I hurt my back with my first step into the restaurant in rain.

Been here a couple of times now and have been disappointed both times. I had the miso ramen with firm noodles, rich broth and medium chicken oil. It came with an egg, bean sprouts and toasted nori. Here’s a breakdown: • Noodles – The firmness was good but the noodles themselves were lifeless and didn’t have a bounce to them.• Broth – It was not very spicy and the “rich” broth lacked depth.• Cha siu – It didn’t taste like it was a good cut of pork. It seemed a bit overcooked and too lean for my preference.• Egg – Overcooked egg and the didn’t have that golden yellow yolk flavour I was hoping for. Service was ok, but felt rushed. We came during lunch and they gave us our bill before I was finished eating.

Love this place. Great value when ordering the combo on the menu. Ramen is a little bit on the boring side and you can hear occasional microwave from the kitchen. Washroom is clean and no sticky floor in the restaurant. Plenty seating for individuals and groups.

Great place for ramen downtown. One of the best customer service I’ve had around here, the small bowls of rice and meet you can add for a few dollars is definitely worth it.

Ordered the chicken cutlet, came out to be $9.74 after tax. Portion was a bit small for the price though the cutlet was quite nice. I would next time order the cutlet next door at the Korean restaurant.

This is a tiny restaurant in the heart of Robson St. dining district, but it holds its own with any of its nearby competitors. You can choose texture, flavor strength, and oil content, and a myriad of add-ons make your ramen totally customizable and your own unique and tasty creation. Portion sizes were generous especially with large and tender pieces of meat. Highly recommended if you can find it!

One of my favourite ramen places. Not too salty, good choices of toppings (I am a very picky eater. I usually get the shoyu because I will eat everything!) Love the onigiri as well.

We went to Yah Ya Ya Ramen downtown on a Saturday evening and there was no line up to get in. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and organized. Ordered the Gyoza, three to a plate. I usually prefer Black Tonkotsu, extra egg and corn. The broth was so creamy and delicious. I would definitely recommend and return to Yah Ya Ya Ramen.

Pretty normal ramen restruaunt, nothing really stood out. Ordered a large ramen with onigiri. Ramen had a nice thick broth with chewy noodles. Egg had a good consistency runny yolk. Onigiri was bearded with rice seasoning / furikake, wrapped with a piece of seaweed and no filling. Wasn't super busy around the time I came in (11:45PM) and was able to find a seat immediately. Would come again for a quick and delicious meal.

I've been to this restaurant twice with a date and it's always quite enjoyable. I got the Mazesoba this time around and it's pretty good but just felt more like a slightly drier ramen. The noodles didn't seem to have been drained beforehand so I did get a bit of soup at the bottom even though the menu said it was soupless, haha

I would not recommend this restaurant. Though service is nice and dishes come out fast, these elements do not make up for the terrible taste of the dish. I ordered a black pork ramen, and was severely disappointed. First, the broth was flavourful, but unimaginably salty. To mitigate it I put in most of the water in my cup and it was still salty. The black oil destroyed the flavour and made the whole soup bitter. The noodles were average and char shu was bland and mushy. Only thing I liked in this dish were the seasoned eggs. Definitely a place to avoid. There are many better places to eat ramen.

All normal Ramen in Vancouver deserves an absolute 5 star. Because the bad ones get 5 star all the time, too.Difference is this one is actually good...

Absolutely love the downtown location! The flavour is a bit stronger and more variety like takoyaki and chicken karrage!I got the black tonkatsu with regular style noodles and it is very delicious. Strong tonkatsu (pork) broth and lots of flavour. My friend got the vegetarian broth (mushroom broth) and also a very excellent choice! Fantastic for vegetarians and also maintaining a delicious ramen flavour profile!

Flavorful broth and chewy ramen. Friendly staff and the service is very quick. My only complaint is that the broth was too salty. Less salt would have made the broth perfect

Painfully salty. The broth tastes like lukewarm seawater. The basic ramen covered a small bunch of spinach and that's it..... The meat is juicy and tender....

While the service is awesome, and their appetizer was quite delicious (I ordered spicy bamboo shoots), I wasn't all that impressed with the veggie ramen, though to be fair, it did taste quite decent. It's just that for vegetarians, I think there are definitely better ramen options around Vancouver.

This site is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I I need a superb meal, this place comes instantly to my mind. outstanding and varied food and a rich menu.generous staff members, and agreeable mood. In addition to that, the tariff is modest. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This place is a gem. I come here once a week. It's very consistent, good price, lots of seating, and not so busy like certain other trendy ramen shops nearby. Feels like a more authentic "no frills" Japanese experience.

I got the Shoyu Ramen. I enjoyed the noodles and the meat. The broth was okay, especially when I compare it to the Miso broth my wife got. I would recommend getting the large size if you are hungry. I got the regular size and wished I got the large after finishing my bowl rather quick. On my next visit, I will have to try the mazesoba.

Great ambience! Seating for people who come alone is abundant, and seating for people in groups are adequate as well. Great use of space! I tried the most popular Shoyu Ramen with light for every option; and I did find it a little too light. It wasn't savoury and sometimes I felt like it was a little plain like water. Will definitely come back to try again with the average/regular options though!

Nice and light flavour of ramen. Lots of Japanese customers here..so authenticity is not questionable right?
